Speak & Shine for Children and Youth is dedicated to public speaking and leadership development among young people. Experience has taught us, the younger a child starts learning public speaking, the easier he/she finds speaking interesting, and then the greater social and leadership skills he/she gets developed early on. And these skill sets will greatly contribute to a person's lifetime happiness and career success. Children and Youth development are important to us! We take pride in nurturing their communication and leadership skills.
If your child is naturally comfortable at speaking, he/she is off to a good start. Yet no one is born to be a good speaker. In fact, most people, young or old, get nervous when speaking in front of an audience. It takes a lot of practice to be good at speaking. Speak & Shine makes this learning process easy and fun! Here is the roadmap. We transform shy nervous speakers into confident and competent communicators.
We are offering three types of online training:
Sunny Fridge, Ph.D. in Education, is an award-winning professional speaker and public speaking coach. She taught Communications and Journalism in Universities and had been a reporter, news anchor, and radio host for decades. She enjoys teaching the art of speaking and wants to help more people master the power of speaking!
We transform shy nervous speakers into confident and competent communicators.
Our curriculum and teaching methods are designed to help your children develop their inner talent in a fun and friendly setting!
The Confident Speaker series help students build a foundation in public speaking. It has four incremental units. Each unit has 8 sessions. Each session is one hour. Each class has a maximum of 6 students. A student who graduated from unit 1 will move on to unit 2 and so forth. After they graduate from the Confident Speaker series, they will enter a Speak & Shine Public Speaking Team.
